ok, it was a looong time without new posts here… it’s all happening, it’s all happening… *grins*
yesterday – Iron Maiden DVD - Release Party @ Planet Music.
oh yeah, I was a teenager during the ‘80… of course I do LOVE Iron Maiden!!! And of course I dreamed of Bruce Dickinson years and years long… *SIGH*
well, the DVD is actually something already known: “Live after Death”, recorded in 1984, Long Beach, California. I used to have it in tape a long time ago… I have no idea what I did to that tape, but anyway… I was soooo pleased and so happy to watch Iron Maiden in action again…
ok, “in action”… actually on big screen, but it’s ok, since this concert is one of the coolest concerts ever (but not better than their performance at “Rock in Rio” in Brazil, 1985 
), and… wow!!! The Iron Maiden guys were really hot wearing those tight pants!!! … and what about their hairdressings?? That was something… “exquisite” 
Wow, believe me, I used to find all this ‘80-metal-outfits hot and perfect… well, and I still think Bruce Dickinson is one of the most beautiful and attractive men ever!!! 
Then after the DVD-Session (with a bunch of posers and other freaks like me screaming and singing all songs as loud as possible) there was an Iron Maiden cover band… hmm… ok, I have to admit: there are no good cover bands in Europe as we have in Latin America!!!
First because all the most famous bands play so often in Europe that the local musicians don’t need to organize cover bands to hear their favourite songs in a live concert. Second, I think the european bands are proud enough (or maybe good enough) to play their own songs. And the local audience is also very proud of them. Not bad!
Anyway the concert of the cover band wasn’t that notorious, I spend the rest of the night laughing with Vera and Mo, and at the end of the night we decided to go to Escape - only to drop by, since it’s our favourite bar in the city and we feel home there!!! 
… and since I’m already in this “Iron Maiden” mood… oh yeah babe!! I’m already happy and excited in advance: we’ll meet Mr. Dickinson, Mr. Harris, Mr. Murray and Mr. Smith in July… in Waaaaaaaaacken!!!!! Yes yes yes yes… I can barely wait!!!
And while we wait… there are still lots and lots and lots of things to enjoy!!!
