We’ve spent some time on  weekend fooling around in Vienna and found some small treasures… ;-)

1- Space invaders are taking over Vienna!!! :-O

Tired… but happy!

September 24, 2007

I am completely tired!

Micha was in Vienna on weekend and therefore there wasn’t much sleep… ;-)

Apparently he likes the new appartment and probably he’ll be often here… that’s nice!

We spent some time watching “The IT Crowd” (hillarious!!!), and on Friday was Vera’s birthday party. On Saturday we had a delicious (and overpriced) meal at ” ¡Salud! ”, and yesterday (Sunday) delicious (and “normal” expensive) burgers and beer at “1516 brewing company“…

*burp*

for this reason I am again on diet… such a stupid thing!!!

Since I still don’t have access to internet at home, and since “Googlemail” is blocked at the office, I am completely away from the whole world. It’s stressful. :-/

Well, now I have to go back to work!!!

 (but I am REALLY tired!!)

New appartment and sushi @ the office

September 18, 2007

Hi everybody!!

As I told you before, I found a new appartment to live in Vienna!! My first “solo” flat since I’ve moved to Europa, yoo-hoo!

The place is really lovely, not too far away from the donwtown and ready-furnished.

I moved on Friday and some friends dropped by at night for some beers.

The new place is cousy and I have already this feeling of “being-home”. Not bad.

Click here to find some pictures I’ve taken on weekend… the place is really lovely, isn’t it? :-)

… and today we haaaaaaaaaaaad… sushi at the office!! \o/

 (I love sushiiiii!!!)

and these are my gorgeous colleagues, and the tasty sushi!! yummi!!

Well, sometimes this work can be funny… ;-)

I can see clearly now…

September 10, 2007

the rain is gone…

I can see all obstacles in my way

Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind

It’s gonna be a bright (bright), bright (bright)

Sun-shiny day…

:-)

Finally some sun! The rain’s gone!!!

It makes me feel a little better, but I am still feeling lonely.

Yes, I have lots of new good friends in Vienna. But I’m missing Micha very hard. I don’t know if he realises how hard… I’m not used to a long-distance relationship. Maybe it’s not a big deal for Micha, he’s already had this.

But for me it’s worse than anything else! Sometimes it’s worse than being single.

‘Cause distance hurts.

…sigh…

but I’m trying to keep my mental sanity. I’m trying to hold on. I hope I will.

Ok, but today is a bright, bright sun-shiny day… I’ll try to keep it on my mind and not think about distance…

(and once again another Youtube video… I think I’m getting vicious, heheheheh)

September rain

September 7, 2007

hmpf. Four days nonstop rain in Vienna.

I love the rain, but… FOUR DAYS NONSTOP?!

it’s a little too much. I’m starting to be depressed… :-(

I… need… a… rest

September 5, 2007

not “arrest”, but a rest.

The work is killing me. My whole body aches, I can’t sleep, I cannot concentrate and I am feeling miserable.

I need a rest. In peace.

Stardust – saw it!

September 3, 2007

well I couldn’t wait till Stardust starts on theaters in Europe.

So I managed an alternative way to watch it. Please don’t be mad about me, Mr. Gaiman. I swear I’ll spend a lot of money watching the movie on the “official way”, but I needed to watch it now.

First of all, I have to admit it’s much better for us as fans when the author makes the treatment of his own book… the final result looks better for us. Although… hm, I have read Gaiman’s short Story “The goldfish pool and other stories” (Gaiman, N.: Smoke and Mirrors: Short Fictions and Illusions. Harper Perennial, 2001), kind of a meta-linguistic fiction, where an author experiences the stressful process of “writing a treatment of his own book”.  So, maybe it’s not as funny for the author to write the treatment himself as it is funny for us to watch a good movie… but anyway thank you Mr. Gaiman for having the nerves to write the treatment! :-)

Well, anyway I watched the movie.

1- Well, Robert DeNiro is just PERFECT as Capitan Shakespeare. The role of “bad-ass-lovely-ballerina-pirate” fits perfect to him. :-)

2- Well, Michelle Pfeifer is still gorgeous. And she’s better playing the role of a witch then any other role as “drama diva”.

3 – Charlie Cox is sweet! ;-)

4 – The King and his sons are really funny!!! *g*

… and much more.  I know some people will say the movie looks too cliché, but I don’t care. I love Neil Gaiman’s works, and therefore I loved the movie. So the only thing I can say is: Stardust is strongly recommended!! (I can’t barely wait to watch it properly on big screen!!!)

oh ja, and nothing to do with movies or books (I am not “that” nerdie, I still have fun with other stuffs, hehehehe)… the weekend was a blast. Saturday was Boerny’s birthday, and of course we had the party at Escape (where else?)… yoo-hoo! Almost 9 hours with our beloved “whisky-cola” and having much much much fun!!! I went to bed at 7:30 A.M. on Sunday, and believe me… I wasn’t drunk!!! :-O

(maybe my body’s getting used to this weekly amount of whisky *grins*)
